Snoozebox

Project:  Mobile Hotel, various sites
Client:    Snoozebox Ltd. 

Designed as a mobile hotel, Snoozebox takes the highly popular idea of repurposing shipping containers. A 40ft container is designed to have five rooms, each with an ensuite, double bed and single bunk, which can easily be transported and erected within hours at sporting events around the UK and further afield.
 
The boxes are linked up to a ‘mother ship’ container which serves as a distribution centre for power, water and waste storage facility. The accommodation has been used extensively for music festivals, sporting events and even to house security staff for the London Olympics.
 
This project was delivered during Matthew’s time working at the Manser Practice.
